July 2008 Yuma, Arizona. Latitude participates in Golden Phoenix, a Department of Homeland Security training exercise based in San Diego, California, with an unmanned air vehicle segment in Yuma, Arizona (NBC San Diego article). Latitude provided persistent aerial imagery of the unmanned air system training and test area throughout the exercise with a Parasight equipped tethered balloon. The exercise demonstrated the capability of the Parasight Aerostat system to provide cost-effective long-duration overhead imagery in a demanding environment.
